Reform UK Treasury Spokesman Robert Jenrick unveils Reform's latest plans to cut red tape and scrap privacy rules for small businesses, accusing Labour of 'suffocating' small companies.
Today, Robert Jenrick set out our plan to back entrepreneurs in Britain.
This is our contract with small businesses.
1. Increase the VAT threshold from £90,000 to £150,000.
2. Implement a Hard Work Bonus by removing income tax on overtime.
3. Introduce ‘delay repay’ for HMRC backlogs to incentivise the taxman to treat taxpayers with respect.
4. Reduce the cost of hiring by reversing Labour’s Jobs Tax for British workers.
5. Incentivise apprenticeships by providing wage credits and Apprenticeships Retention Bonuses.
6. Cut the cost of fuel and energy by scrapping net zero policies.
7. Repeal the European GDPR that is suffocating British businesses and holding back our tech sector.
8. Help families invest in relatives’ small businesses, giving entrepreneurs better access to capital.
